Package name of c++ stl support on Debian ?

I have 3.3.3 (I am shoehorning a knoppix hd install into developer-grade 
shape so I can test and build some applications)

By the way what's a good howto on kde resources ? The font under the icon 
desktops is the wrong color etc.
