PgAccess Help

I've downloaded the latest version of PgAccess.bin and can't seem to get 
it to connect to my database in the localhost.

The machine is running Fedora Core 1.
Postgresql seems to be 7.3.4-RH.

I've set tcpip_socket=true (and false) in postgresql.conf
I've  un-remed :

local  all  all                              trust
host   all  all  127.0.0.1.  255.255.255.255 trust

and still no love connecting to template1 from pgaccess.bin

psql works fine though....

What am I missing?
