As was mentioned by someone else, 'rpm -qa' will give you a list of ALL
installed packages. If you want to check the version of one in particular,
you can use 'rpm -qa |grep spamassassin' for example. If you have installed
an older version of the spamassassin RPM and you need a newer one (its not
clear from your original message), you just run 'rpm -Uvh <package name>',
where '<package name>' is the full name of the rpm you want to install. You
do not need to remove the old package before upgrading to the new package.
