CUPS is not exactly a "best of Linux" trait. Hell even ESR had issues
wih it recently. The desktop in my opinion is not an issue. I suspect
with plenty of the Big Boys getting behind Linux, these issues BTW which
are not foreign to M$ will eventually become ....... only a memory. 

Not to start a distro war .... I've been to RPM Hell and don't wanna go back.
