I'm running into exactly the same problem on my debian box, but I
haven't seen the same thing in Gentoo. On debian I'm running Evolution
1.0.5, while Gentoo is running 1.4.x (I think, I'll have to check) so it
may be something that's been fixed in more recent versions. What
version are you running, Maddy?
Also, the problem of leaving mail on a server is what prompted me to
move to IMAP. I now have a consistent mailbox accessible from anywhere.
