Sun has been trying to address these issues and turn the internet back into
a community of peers. They created an open source project called Project
JXTA (www.jxta.org) which is now in it's second version. It's an interesting
project, with some great ideas, but there aren't many applications out there
that use it.

The internet is a community of peers. Resist the pressure to make it
a "market" with consumers and a priviledged producer class.
