Well, agree, but the whole thing requires some more than simple configuration, and the initial question will not be answered by a couple of simple e-mails. They has a right to know what he is dealing with, and then decide on his own whether he wants to move on and dig in the things he knows very little about (all of us were there at a certain point, and this might result in him getting one of those valuable experiences) to accomplish a relatively simple task of setting up a personal web server.
