Then upgrade the distro
# urpmi --auto-select

Couldn't be much easier than that.

If you decide to use the installer (DrakX), point it to the same  
address as above up to (and including) i586.  I agree that this is not  
obvious.

If you want the contribs apps too:
# urpmi.addmedia contrib9.2  
http://mandrake.redbox.cz/Mandrake/9.2/contrib/i586/

Oh and sunet.se and uninett.no are also good mirrors, but you'll have  
to look up the directory tree which is slightly different.
