Hey Kieth,

  This actually isn't a problem because one distro will see '/dev/hdaX' as
'/' for it's install while the other will see '/dev/hdaY' as it's '/'
partition.

BTW - My questions has seemed to have gone off on a tangent leaving me
still in search of an answer :). Does anyone know how I can restore the
vanilla  Lilo or the Lilo from Redhat as the active one? Thanks!
