On Windoze OO preloads itself and then the main screen appears instantly.
When you start an app (like write) it does indeed take some time. After
all they did not have a chance to load 85% of the office dlls into the os
at boot time. Has anyone got figures on boot times of the same machine
with and withoug office installed ? (not boot to gui, boot to steady off
disk light).
