Evening all
I just bought an old PII IBM 300 GL that I installed coyote linux 2.2.3 on
to act as a firewall/dhcp server for my internal network. All was working
fine up until about an hour ago when the dhcp server decided that it no
longer wanted to accept my requests for a new lease and timed out.
I'm yet to resolve this issue because when I reboot the machine I get an
"1805 error Adaptor ROM checksum failed" Theres also an error with the
ram chip but I didn't expect this 1805 error so forgot to write it down.
I have a 30 day warranty from the supplier I got it from but I'd
prefer not to bother him with it and fix it on my own.
Any help appreciated, and if any further info is required please tell me.
Thanks
Gardner Bell
