[GTALUG] alternatives to gmail working well in Ubintu?

I also said that I prefer reading on line, which clearly means not a 
client,  regardless of the various concepts comprising low graphics.
I am seeking an alternative e-mail to a gmail address, one from a service 
with   an online browser method for reading.
