by the way, Monoprice Select Mini is a rebranded Wanhao Duplicator i3 mini.

I guess they just chopped off the left  side of i3 frame holding Z
axis(including second z-axis motor), here's the original for the comparison

Which likely made things wobblier, unless frame was strengthened is some
serious ways, expect a lot of z-wobble in on both x and y axis --
