I always thought it a shame that the windmill was only used to generate
hydrogen for the hybrid fleet. It would have been nice to have it feed the
grid, although I'm not sure if that has changed since I last read the
plaque at the base of it.

I believe that some pantographic transportation corridors hop between AC
and DC using similar tech.

It would have been nice if Smartrack could have been realized along those
lines.

However, I think everyone but the mayor's team recognized track gauge
matching between any kind of urban LRT and the GO corridor would be
problematic among all the other electrification issues.
