honestly it hasn't really changed since GTALUG was made into a non-profit
corporation back in 2003. That doesn't mean it's not talked about at all,
actually, it does get covered as part of every AGM, and occasional
reminders at the in-person meetings.

That sounds pretty consistent.  The $20 isn't inherent to the constitution;
that's something
that I suppose would be considered an "administrative" matter; I do not
recall when
there was last a vote surrounding it. As you say, membership arrangements
have really
not changed since the very beginning.

I'll be bringing the wee bag of membership materials (cards, stamps, forms)
to upcoming meetings; that's a usual bit of the cycle of things.

We used to have a reasonably clear wiki page on this; alas, it has gone
missing when the MediaWiki instance went offline. (Hiding in a backup,
but it's not online anywhere.

Those interested in participating in electoral matters next week should be
sure to come ready to fill in membership form with $20. (Well, except
for those that handled this at the September meeting!)

When confronted by a difficult problem, solve it by reducing it to the
question, "How would the Lone Ranger handle this?"
