And I'm a Repair Cafe fixer - have been almost since they opened the
doors in Toronto.  Here's the website:

I think a lot of the people on TLUG are just as likely to fall into
the "potential fixer" category rather than the "needs a repair"
category.  I'd encourage you to come out even if you have nothing that
needs fixing - to enjoy HackLab (which is a very cool place) and to
get a feel for Repair Cafe, which is vibrant and lots of fun.  We can
always use more volunteers, and being a volunteer for them is
educational, fun, and rewarding.  I'll be there: come say Hi, look
over my shoulder and offer some advice on fixing the broken laptop I'm
likely to have sitting in front of me.
