Ugh. The article starts with good ol' jingoism and then proceed not to 
give a single citation of the TPP,  condensing to just bunch of 
paraphrasing taken out of context. Not that the TPP doesn't have its 
problems but this is really not a good piece of journalism.

Planet money gave much better and way less panicky explanation of the 
TPP --
