[GTALUG] Unbootability

Have you tried swapping out the power supply?

I've found that marginal power supplies cause all manner of weird failures.

Sorry; I mangled the name of the motherboard.

I also forgot to mention that I tried all the boot discs out on another
computer, and they all work perfectly well there.
