Coax Deterioration: Was: Anyone still has coax ethernet cable?

Well, there's the litter basket I mentioned a couple of posts back.  The
plastic is now brittle enough to break when I picked it up.  It's only
40 odd years old though.  The problem is the plasticizers evaporate over
time.
