thinking about Haswell desktop

Another annoyance: even though Intel processors' on-chip video
controllers have started to be "good enough", they don't support
dual-link DVI.  They support 2560x1600 resolution and DVI, but not
2560x1600 through DVI.

I have a monitor and a KVM that can only be driven by dual-link DVI.
