My tendency, when on a tiny-screened-device, is to click the little checkbox
to omit quoting *anything*, as it seems better to let threading and previous
emails on a MAILING LIST to do their thing and provide that context.

The proper lazy answer is to omit quoting anything at all, rather than
quoting things you're likely not even commenting on.
