OpenWRT problem/misunderstanding

16MB ram seems right here.  Check /proc/meminfo.

/tmp is ramdisk, and it will be recreated on boot.  At least on DD-WRT,
you have to enable JFFS to access internal flash, which web interface
does automatically.
