More automation.

Deploy applications through package manager. New releases are then
pulled through a package repository.

Configuration management is another option. New files can be pulled
automatically from version control. Usually in this order: user checks
or merges new code. Configuration management server pulls new code for
client hosts to pickup. Client hosts check with CM server for new code
and download.
