I've got a DIR825 rev B with OpenWRT that I've been using at home as 
well (from the same recommendation).

Now, at work and for various personal projects I've been leaning towards 
TP-Link products. They have good build quality and reliable performance.

In the category your looking for, I've heard some well researched 
recommendations for the TL-WDR4300.
