How do I *PERMANENTLY* remove extra toolbars in gnumeric?

  Some more Google-spelunking... it looks like GNOME in general
(gnumeric is a GNOME app) is converting from gconf to GSettings.
Bleagh.  I am now seriously considering a switch to openoffice.
