I'm having a little trouble: the latest Java, therefore Arduino software
isn't available on 10.04.  Contemplating picking up yet another cheap
laptop so I can rehearse installing something else -- latest Debian
perhaps, and hunt for a desktop manager that doesn't aim to transform my
life for the worse.
