Hopefully that hearing will extend to Rogers. They currently supply a
couple of DOCSIS 3 modem/routers, which do not have a reputation for
quality. It is possible, but very difficult to get them to connect to
other DOCSIS 3 modems. Again, this is due to an arbitrary decision by
Rogers and not due to technical reasons. After all the driving force
behind DOCSIS was to have a common standard and get away from supplier
dependencies.
