This script only tells half the story. My Raspberry Pi (32 bit) runs it
fine will no rollover, but if your turn ntpd off and set the date to a
few seconds before Y2038 with this command:

 sudo date --utc --set='@2147483641'

the system date very soon rolls over to Fri Dec 13 15:48 EST 1901.
