What I like is when they make a like of stars to make a horizontal line on
the lineprinter, there are even random imperfections introduced as to how
the stars line up.

So, on a 300-baud (or thereabouts) lineprinter, it takes about 5-7 minutes
to print a 1-page (8 hits) output ... ? I remember it being faster, but I
used line printers from the early '80s, not the '60s. Did they have
bi-directional printing heads in the '60s?
