It has a 22mm fixed lens, and a 18-55mm zoom lens.  With the 22mm lens
on it, it looks rather compact.

Internally it has most of the bits of a T4i, without the mirror and
viewfinder stuff of course.

Now if you were to use the EF-M to EF/EF-S adapter, then it would start
to look bizarre and pretty ridiculous once you add a serious lens to it.
Stops being quite so portable too at that point.
