It's actually a Comedy Central ban on Canada, not a Canadian ban on
Comedy Central.

It's not actually idiotic: Comedy Central only has US licenses for the
content it broadcasts and webcasts.  Other boradcasters have licenses
for Canadian distribution.

I'd call it inconvenient.

BTW, things may get even more inconvenient after the new copyright act
is passed.
