Don't know it, haven't tried it. What I do know is that poking at new
software is usual fun / usually interesting, just as long as you are
not risking @#$% your "production" boxes. So, sure put it into a
virtual instance and/or put it on an old "test" PC then kick it around
for a while. If things don't work out you can delete the virtual
instance or reformat the test PC with no great loss. If things do work
out you can start thinking about installing Unity on your "production"
machines.
