They even ignored bug reports from users that included obvious patches.

Fedora like Ubuntu thinks fixed release schedules are a good idea,
and throws in stuff that is far from ready for use.  It also still
doesn't reliably upgrade in place while in use.  I can't go back to
something so primitive.

The gcc 2.96 mess in rehdat 7 and other things like that really made me
have no interest in anything released by redhat.  Having just looked at
a .spec file again I really don't want to go back to that.  Ewww!
