Very interesting.

Indeed. we are currently subscribed to Rogers cable, so I guess they are
allowed to call. Ugh. It's the 'buy something from us and we have a
license to harass you for ever' business model.

At one point, I was receiving *several* mailings per week from American
Express. It felt like an assault. I contacted them and said that I wanted
them to *never*, under *any circumstances* to communicate with me again.
The woman said 'We have a list for people like you.' (I didn't explore
what 'like you' implied, but I'll bet it wasn't good.) Anyway, from that
day forward I have not had anything from American Express. Thank god.

I'll contact Rogers and ask to be put on a Rogers 'do not call' list.
