Seems like their schedule is similar for all workers. So its as easy as scheduling the Blackberry router service to shutdown and start up on at certain times. BES is also sql based so there are ways to change things around with some T-SQL know how.

We for example set our BB signatures using a vbs file that pulls data from AD and shoves it into the right field in the BES sql database.

Subject: [TLUG]: Volkswagen turns off Blackberry email after work hours

Hello,

Just came across this article and got curious how one can implement it efficiently, that is, without subscribing the phone in the morning and de-subscribing in the evening. I believe this is not what VW will be doing us it would easily become annoying? What if all the VW employees are not BB users?

Also off topic a bit, what's the deal with unions sometimes? Seriously, I do like unions but these are some of the things that make people think twice about them. Turning off the phone would be a better solution
