That's what I'm afraid of. Today, I was using Skype. I got a call on my
land line that I chose to ignore so that I could continue my
conversation on Skype. That plan was thwarted when my Internet
connection dropped while the phone was ringing only to resume about 30
seconds after it stopped ringing.

Another issue is that I can't get anything faster than the 5M service
here. It is noticeably slower than what I used to have with Rogers.
Anything faster requires Bell to install fiber optic cable to a "remote"
and there is no install date for that. If that were an option, I might
be more inclined to iron the problems with the line but it isn't so I'm
not. I tried to entice Bell by pretending to be interested in Fibe TV,
which I'm not, but that wasn't enough for them to care.
