I think GNOME 3/3.2 is terrific. I haven't been this excited about
running Linux since it was outlawed at work. I've been installing it
everywhere (mostly openSUSE but also Fedora and Debian), even in
VMware and VirtualBox at the office.
I need to thank Marcel Gagne for blogging about it in early 2010, Jim
Campbell of the Documentation Project for posting right here about the
Doc Hackfest in March, and Hugh for pressing Jim for more information.
Once I showed up at the Hackfest, Phil Bull gave me the clue to
unlock the Live DVD and replace my long-time distro, Ubuntu. I
haven't looked back.
