i , like many, bailed from kde (2.x?), when the next release was  a bug 
fest.
Always liked kde better for its extra power, but have been with gnome 
for about last 4 years i am guessing.
I was going to go back to kde , next i do a update/install, but.. you 
say still a bit buggy and unstable?
no 4.x release point (even if 6-12 months old) is built proof yet?
I will have my current gnome 2 main desktop system (on 24/7/365), have a 
crash (out of desktop to text console) maybe 1-2 times per year,
people not seeing this stability yet with kde 4.x ?
