The acronym seems to be "ODM" in this world.  There are only a small
number of large ODMs and HP surely contracted one of them to make the
HP TouchPad.  But HP did much of the software engineering -- it isn't
sold with another brand.

This is just like Apple.  One of Apple's ODM's is famously Foxconn.

If there are other tablets with similar guts, it should be possible to 
find out by googling for "Snapdragon" -- most other high-end tablets use 
"Tegra" processors.
