Depending what you need it for, you may find this free one good enough: 
http://www.cacert.org

It's root certificate is included already in a few distros but is still 
not in mainstream browsers (IE, FF) 
http://wiki.cacert.org/InclusionStatus .  But it is handy for the way 
that I use it (need to first trust their root certificate at each new 
machine/OS/browser in our organization, and from then onwards all our 
issued certificates are trusted without prompting).
