Bakelite fountain pens. There's an incredible amount of traffic in
these things on e-bay. Not just for the value of the gold in the nibs
but some people sign all their documents with these pens.
I wonder if you can still custom order MICR inks?
Do heads of state still use MICR when they sign treaties?
