CyangenMod or Android Market for tethering?

I'm running CyanogenMod on my Telus HTC Desire... the installation was
pretty straightforward once I followed the right instructions, and
when I initially followed the *wrong* instructions (AMOLED driver when
SLCD was required), recovering from the non-working installation was
trivial.
