You have saved me *hours* of research, Richard. Thank-you very much.

Today I purchased the light-meter accessory (Extech 401025 Light
Probemeter) that works with a recording voltmeter (eg, the Syscomp
DVM-101, ahem), so all the hardware is organized.

Just a 'little bit of software' and we're done! ;).
