TPL and firewalls

I was using my laptop at the TPL main reference library.
Had no problem with IMAP/993/SSL and SMTP/465/SSL

Went to another branch and it did not work.
TPL staff put me on a phone with TPL IT Services.

TPL IT says hardware at all branches is the same but firewall
configurations can vary, depending on what the public has requested.

They will open firewall ports at a particular branch if you request it.
