I paid $900 about 9 months ago for my Lenovo SL500. You can easily make
a nice lenovo cusomized for under $1000. I got mine with a highres
screen and nvidia video chip at the time, as well as the low power CPU
(25W rather than 35W), all of which upped the price.
The SL410 is 14", the SL510 is 15.6". If you want smaller, there is
the X200 line which I think are 12", and the Y series which I think come
in 13" although I may have that one mixed up with another one.
