spam from or to amanda on my domain

I always wondered why so much spam seemed to be from or to amanda on my 
domain.  I just noticed that amanda (as in the backup program I don't use) 
is an alias for root.  The spammers discovered that this worked years ago 
by probing and didn't realize that it was just root, not a person.  Doh!
