Nice card, but sounds like overkill to me. I would be be looking for a
card that supports VDPAU as the MythTV folks have made it clear that
in future releases of MythTV they will want video cards that have
hardware video decode support. SOME of the GeForce 8xxx series cards
support VDPAU, and almost everything post 8xxx support VDPAU...
