Take-over of Linux.com by the Linux Foundation

Hello all, 

I noticed that Linux.com was taken-over by the Linux foundation. If I
recall correctly, it used to be a repository for various distributions.
Now it is something else. 

Any ideas or feedback on the switch?

Maybe it will be a better repository....who knows...
