security camera's and linux

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to purchase a cheap security camera that is compatible with
linux. Or if it has a web interface built inside itself.

I am hoping it would be small, preferably that the people if they manage to
get in my house, or the people trying to even break into my apartment not
know that i'm seeing them trying so I can get the authorities.

Please any suggestions would be helpful.
