Heard about this through Geekbrief (http://www.geekbrief.tv/), there
is now Linux native multitouch support available:

Okay, so it isn't quite ready for "prime time" yet, but the demo looks
great and talking about this sort of stuff beat moaning about what
this or that proprietary software is doing...
